The Starbase Houston Clubhouse was the setting for the monthly meeting on
January 17th. Hotdogs were served with a variety of toppings.
Starbase Houston is making plans for our Annual Chili Cook Off and
Collectibles Auction, or as some members have come to call it... "The Chili
Auction", later this spring. Our hopes are to use the community building at the
Christia V. Adair Park again this coming April. We will be posting more
information soon.
We discussed several topics. One was purchasing more padded chairs for the
clubhouse. Another, being that there are a number of conventions of interest to
members this spring.
Our next meeting will be on February 21st. starting at
2 p.m. This will be an Away Mission. SBH will be hosting an Ice Cream
Social and Movie Day. More information on the meeting will be posted soon. You
will need to RSVP to receive location information. Sending us an RSVP will also
help us to determine how much ice cream to purchase for the meeting.

The 2009 SBH Christmas Party was a success.

Eileen won the Calendar Raffle and Angela won the Star Trek Uno door prize.
Proceeds from the raffle will go towards buying items for the clubhouse. We're
still planning on purchasing a bbq grill.
The lasagna dinner seemed to be a hit and all members out did themselves in
supplying appetizers and desserts. We all ate more than we should have, because
the food was really good.
We held our annual gift exchange. Poor Neil, he kept having to go back to the
tree. He would be all excited about the gift he had chosen, only to have it
stolen from him.
